If you’re after the perfect steak, then take the following recommendation from Tom and Jack from the James Brothers Meat Co. Cast iron or coals it doesn’t matter, all that matters is that it is piping hot!
- Bring your steak to room temperature and lightly salt it.
- Place your steak in the pan at extreme heat and flip when you have a nice crust (approximately 3mins for a standard thickness steak). ONLY FLIP IT ONCE!
- Cook the other side for a further 3 mins.
- Rest off the heat for another 3 mins, SERVE UP!
