Balanced and herbal, but not too herbal; sweet enough to balance the lime juice, but not too sweet—”Last Word” makes a great nightcap
INGREDIENTS
- ¾ fl oz (20 ml) gin
- ¾ fl oz (20 ml) maraschino liqueur
- ¾ fl oz (20 ml) green Chartreuse
- ¾ fl oz (20 ml) fresh lime juice
- Lime wheel, for garnish
METHOD
Combine the gin, maraschino liqueur, Chartreuse, and lime juice in a shaker.
Add ice, shake hard for 8–10 seconds, and strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with the lime wheel.
